Responsibilities
- Security Oversight: Oversee security and design aspects of communications networks supporting mission-critical operations for digital engineering and DevSecOps Extended Enterprise Environments.
- Risk Management: Utilize NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and NIST SP 800-171 controls to develop security plans that minimize enterprise risk.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with emerging Department of Defense security regulations such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
- Security Plans & Solutions: Work closely with teams to identify effective tools and security measures, customizing solutions that balance security with mission needs.
- Systems Management: Lead security initiatives for systems connected to manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and systems integration networks.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5+ years leading and implementing NIST RMF for new and existing systems.
- 3+ years of experience with FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD security standards.
- Experience in leading security assessments, identifying risks, and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Certifications:
- DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Security Tools: Familiarity with automated GRC tools such as Archer, eMASS, or Xacta.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud Security: Knowledge of platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure and their respective security best practices.
- Network & Application Security: Expertise in network architecture, data protection, and application security.
- IoT & OT Security: Familiarity with the Internet of Things (IoT) and Operations Technology (OT) security implementations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
