Key Responsibilities
As a Target Digital Network Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing analytic support for offensive cyberspace operations and intelligence missions. Your expertise will help ensure the success of mission owners by leveraging a deep understanding of network infrastructure, digital exploitation, and signals intelligence. The job responsibilities include:
- Network Exploitation: Use specialized tools and methodologies to assess and exploit target networks.
- Signals Intelligence Analysis: Leverage signals intelligence processes for network discovery and analysis, identifying key network topologies and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Work alongside mission owners and other analysts to tackle complex technical challenges in digital network intelligence.
- Cyber Operations: Contribute to offensive cyberspace operations, helping secure national assets and support national security missions.
- Training and Development: Share knowledge with colleagues, participate in skill development programs, and grow your technical expertise in network analysis and exploitation.
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required for this position.
- Experience:
- At least 6+ years of experience in network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis with a HS diploma or GED.
- Alternatively, 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of routing, network infrastructure, and exploitation frameworks.
- Ability to assess network topology, ports, protocols, and common network configurations.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze dataflows, identify key points of vulnerability, and use exploitation tools effectively.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be beneficial for candidates:
- Experience with Dataflow: Understanding of signals intelligence architecture and how data flows within a network.
- Programming Skills: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or C++ for scripting and automation purposes.
- Penetration Testing: Familiarity with penetration testing tools and methodologies to assess network vulnerabilities.
- Certifications: Network+, Security+, CEH, CCNA, or SANS certifications.
- Expertise in Encryption: A deep understanding of encryption methods and their application in securing digital networks.
